Oh yes, the great Monkey King needs to be shown some love too! I was always disappointed that they only placed him in two episodes when they could have done so much more with him! I notice they did that a lot in the show. They'd develop an awesome one or two shot character and then poof, where'd they go? The Monkey King was a wonderful foil for the Chan's, plus, he was just dang funny! I would have liked to've seen more episodes where MK was pitted against Jade. Their minds are rather similar, I think, though even Jade has some limits. I don't think of MK as being evil, per se, but rather chaotic in alignment, though he does tend to have a dark sense of humor. I always adored the MK and have done a few pix of him, even started a fic with him because no one else seemed to like him as much as I do. Plus, he's disturbingly hot for a simian.
